Meet the Founder,
Muhammad
I'm Muhammad, the guy behind Hidden Level. I opened this place because Urbana didn't have a spot where gaming felt like a community thing instead of a solo thing — somewhere you could drop in, play, and know the people next to you.
Before this, my background was in coaching and movement: 7 years teaching Taekwondo, a few years in boxing, and a degree in exercise science. My current job is as a PE teacher, which helps me support this business. I spent years helping people build skill and discipline in a physical space — now I'm doing the same thing here, just with controllers instead of pads.
I always loved the fitness environments and the cultures that come with them — that sense of support, encouragement, and brotherhood — and I always wished for something like it, but for gamers. Whether it's running our weekly community events, organizing tournament nights, or just making sure the PCs run right, I care about building something people actually want to come back to.
